Click on a county to see coastal areas that may be affected by increased sea level. These maps depict areas at risk for inundation from sea-level rise based only on elevation. Other variables influencing the future shorelines like coastal erosion, wetland accretion, and man-made shoreline structures have not been considered in this assessment. Increased sea level may be due to global sea-level rise associated with climate change, tidal variation, and storm surges.
